The Dr. Shyam Lal Thapar College of Nursing which started in 2003 has within a span of 15 years achieved recognition as one of the top Colleges of Nursing. A commitment to excellence in teaching, research, service, and leadership is the essence of our program.
The “Student First Policy” of Dr. Shyam Lal Thapar College of Nursing has contributed to the successful accomplishments and leadership of our students. Our faculty continues to grow in stature by contributing to practice-based research and innovative methods of teaching.
College is equipped with qualified and competent teachers, good physical infrastructure, Library, and most importantly students get the opportunity for clinical learning in parent teaching hospitals with 350 beds.
A partnership with Dr. S.L.T. College of Nursing can lead to excellence in education, practice, research, and service. We offer programs starting from Auxiliary Nurse Midwife, GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and postgraduate programs M.Sc. Nursing. Our college has recognition and affiliation from Punjab State Nursing Council, Baba Farid University Health Science, and Indian Nursing Council.
